Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 6 oz. egg noodles
- 2 (10.75 oz.) can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup of sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 box of stuffing
- 1/2 cup of butter
Preparation
Step 1
Poach chicken in a large pot of simmering water. Cook until no longer pink in center--12 minutes. Remove from pot and set aside.
Step 2
Bring chicken water to a boil and cook egg noodles in it. Drain. cut chicken into small pieces and mix with noodles.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, mix cream of chicken soup with the sour cream and salt and pepper to add flavor. Stir cream of soup mixture with the chicken mixture. Place in a 2 quart baking dish.
Step 4
Prepare stuffing according to box. Put stuffing mixture on top of the chicken noodle mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until heated through and browned on top.
