Ingredients

  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1 heaping table spoon of baking powder
  • A pinch of salt and about a teaspoon of sugar ( or honey or Splenda)
  • About two cups of Luke warm water
  • And let's say a litre of oil or whatever ur deep fryer has is good

Preparation

Step 1

Heat your oil on a med to med- high heat while you are preparing the ingredients
Sift flour into a medium sized bowl with baking powder and salt then sugar

Step 2

Create a hole in the Center of dry ingredients and slowly start to add water you want to make sure it's all combined but the key is to mix/knead as little as possible

Step 3

Once it's pretty much together sprinkle flour on your counter and plop the doh onto it lightly sprinkle rflour on top so it's manageable

Step 4

Then cut a piece of doh off about the size of your palm and then cut a slit in the middle of the piece to be sure it will cook the whole way through

Step 5

Drop each piece into your hot oil and cook for 2or so minutes on each side ( if it's in a deep fryer or a pot be sure to use metal tongs to flip it)

Step 6

Enjoy with margarine or jam or stew or by itself

The most important thing is to not of handle the doh or it will come of tough and chewy and also the oil can't be to hot or it will basically burn instantly good luck;)
