Ingredients

  • 1/2 C warm water
  • 2 C warm milk
  • 1/4 softened butter
  • 1 C sugar
  • 2 C pumpkin puree
  • 2 t salt
  • 10-12 C whole wheat flour
  • 2 1/2 T yeast

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together except flour and yeast.

Step 2

Mix in yeast, add flour until dough pulls off sides and not too stiff or sticky.

Step 3

Knead 5 minutes on #1.

Step 4

Let rise 60-90 minutes.

Step 5

Punch down and shape into balls. Put onto greased baking sheets.

Step 6

Let rise 30 min.

Step 7

Bake 350 degrees 15-20 minutes until golden.

Step 8

Cool on wire racks.

Makes great cinnamon rolls.
