Creamy Beef with Broccoli

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb (375mL) extra lean ground beef
  • 1 cup (250mL) chopped onion
  • 3 cups (750mL) fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup (250mL) sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup (125mL) diced red pepper
  • 1 can (10 oz/284 mL) Cream of Broccoli Soup
  • ½ cup (125mL) water
  • 1 tbsp (15mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cups (750mL) hot cooked rice, cooked without salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown beef and onion in large non-stick skillet at medium-high heat.

2. Add broccoli, mushrooms and pepper. Cook and stir for 3 to 5 minutes.

3. Add mixture of soup, water and Worcestershire sauce and heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Serve with rice.
