Ingredients
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1 cup green peas (optional)
- 1/4 cup crushed Ritz crackers (optional)

Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain; set aside. In a large frying pan cook meat and onion till meat is brown. Drain fat. Stir in soup, cheese, sour cream, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Stir in green peas and pasta.
Step 2
Transfer to a 2-quart casserole. Bake covered in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Stir. Sprinkle with crushed crackers. Bake uncovered for 5 or 10 minutes more or till heated through. Serves 5 or 6.
