Ingredients
- Chicken 2 Pound, cut into serving pieces
- Bay leaves 3
- Soy sauce 4 Tablespoon
- Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
- Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
- Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
- Cooking oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
- White sugar 1⁄2 Tablespoon
- Salt 1 Teaspoon
- Whole peppercorn 1 Teaspoon

Step 1
GETTING READY
1. In a large container, combine the soy sauce and garlic; marinade the chicken for 180 minutes.
MAKING
2. Place the cooking oil in a pan and heat.
3. When the oil is hot enough, put-in the marinated chicken. Cook all the sides for about 5 minutes.
4. Pour-in the remaining marinade and add water. Bring to a boil.
5. Add the dried bay leaves and whole peppercorn. Simmer for 30 minutes.
6. Pour in the vinegar. Stir and cook for 10 minutes.
7. Add in the sugar, and salt. Stir and turn the heat off.
SERVING
8. Serve Chicken adobo with hot rice and enjoy!
