Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grate
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Preparation

Step 1

1.Whisk together all the ingredients in a small saucepan.

2 Bring to a boil, whisking all the while until it thickens.

3 Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
