Ingredients

  • Green Beans
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp creole seasoning
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 3-4 tbsp Parmesan cheese (this can be set aside for the final step).
  • 2 tbsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the 1 tbsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp creole seasoning
dash of garlic powder
in a small bowl and set aside.

Step 2

Place your non-stick skillet over a med flame and then add your butter along with each of your ingredients listed above except the Parmesan cheese. Now while the green beans are cooking, be sure to turn/toss them so they do not stick to the bottom of the pan. You want your green beans to cook to the point where they become cooked yet still maintain a firm and crunchy texture. You do not want to cover the skillet because the steam will cause your beans to over cook in just a few minutes. When you serve your beans they will be bright green in color with a crisp and crunchy texture.

Step 3

Once your beans have reached this stage around 8-10 minutes (again stove/cook times vary) remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
