Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter/margarine
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13” x 9” x 2” pan
Step 2
Put butter and chocolate into a large saucepan, melt, stirring once or twice on low heat. Remove from heat.
Step 3
Stir sugar into chocolate mixture. Stir in 3 eggs, 1 egg at a time, till well mixed.
Step 4
In a small bowl sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir into the chocolate mixture. Scrape into the greased pan and spread out with rubber scraper. Bake 25-30 minutes.
Step 5
Cool pan on rack, when cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar. (or add icing)
Hard Brownie Icing:
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk (small can - 160ml)
12 oz Chocolate chips (1 1/2 cups)
In large saucepan, add margarine, sugar, evaporated milk. Bring to a rapid boil, remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips & stir until melted. Spread over brownies when it cools off (can be put in fridge for 15-20 minutes to cool more quickly). Icing will thicken when it cools.
