Chicken Wings - Vietnamese Pok Pok Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 cloves garlic, 5 crushed, 3 minced
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp chopped mint

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Pour into a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally till slightly thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Toss wings until well coated.
