Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted shortening
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5x3" loaf pan.
Step 2
Sift together dry ingredients. In separate bowl, blend wet ingredients, egg, and bananas.
Step 3
Add liquid to dry ingredients and beat for about half a minute (batter will be lumpy). Turn into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 65 to 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
