Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg beaten
- cinnamon sugar for once cooked

Preparation
Step 1
Sift dry ingredients, mix in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk and eggs.
Step 2
With floured hands lightly knead the dough. Turn the dough into floured area. Pat to 1/4 inch thickness. Dip cutters into flour and cut out doughnuts
Step 3
Carefully drop into hot oil, only a few at a time. Fry, turning once for about 3 mins or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
