Ingredients

  • BATTER
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp alt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 pkg cream cheese
  • 1/2 icing sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp hot water

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 400. stir flour, baking powder, baking soda, alt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in large bowl. lightly mix in butter with large fork.

Step 2

add pumpkin puree and stir until fluffy. turn out dough onto parchment and roll until 1 inch deep.

Step 3

cut in 4 by 4 inch squares, and cut in half to make triangles. place on baking sheet and cook for 10-12 minutes.

Step 4

beat all topping ingredients until fluffy. drizzle over top of warm scones.
