Warm Lemon Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • ingredients called for on boxed cake mix
  • 2 pkgs (3.4 oz each) instant lemon pudding mix
  • 1/3 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. cold milk
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 2 T. powdered sugar for dusting

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour into 9x13 pan.

Step 2

Beat dry pudding mixes, white sugar, milk and water with whisk for 2 minutes. Pour over batter. DONT spread it.

Step 3

Place baking dish on baking sheet (to catch any sauce that may bubble up and over baking dish). Bake 55 min to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center covers out clean. Cool 20 minutes. Sauce will thicken slightly as it cools. Sprinkle with powder sugar. Serve warm. refrigerate leftovers.
