  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup evaporating milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 cups sugar for dusting

Step 1

in a small bowl place yeast, water and sugar mix until yeast is dissolved.

Step 2

in a large bowl mix all ingredients together including yeast mixture. let rise until dough is doubled.

Step 3

heat oil to 375. drop a tsp of dough into the oil until golden brown. drain on paper towel and coat in sugar.
