Ingredients

  • Ingredients for Step 1.

  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 4 cups bread flour (I use all purpose, either works)
  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup butter, softened (do not put in microwave, you need to leave out to reach room temp)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Ingredients for Step 5.
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 ½ cups confectioners sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened (do not put in microwave, you need ot leave out to reach room temp)
  • 4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces whipped cream cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Place in the bowl of a mixer, water, yeast and sugar and allow to proof for about 15 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with a dough hook and allow to knead 3 to 5 minutes. Cover the bowl with a towel and put in a warm place and allow to rise until doubled around 30-45 minutes.
