Ingredients
- Sugar Cookies
- 2/3 cup shortening
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 4 tsp. milk
- 2 cup flour
- 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- If doubling, do two batches. Cream shortening and sugar. Add vanilla and egg. Then flour, baking powder and salt. Use milk to moisten the mixture. If to wet add flour until fairly stiff. Roll out on floured board and cut out shapes with cookie cutters. Bake at 375F, don’t let them brown.
