Banana Muffins with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour ( a variation that we like is using 1 cup all purpose flour and 1 cup of almond flour)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter (soften)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 medium ripe bananas ( add 1/2 tsp baking soda here)

Preparation
Step 1
- Mash the bananas and add 1/2 tsp baking soda and set aside
Step 2
- Mix all dry ingredients together ( except the chocolate chips) and set aside.
Step 3
- First mix the butter and sugar, and then add one egg at a time while mixing, and then vanilla.
Step 4
- Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet.
Step 5
- Add the bananas ( mix will be a bit lumpy).
-( can add nuts here instead of chocolate chips).
Step 6
- Coat the chocolate chips with some dry flour ( so when cooking will not sink to the bottom) and stir into to mix.
Step 7
- Bake at 350 F for 25 mins ( or till toothpick comes out clean)
