Grandma's Best Peach Cobbler
By Marshall
This is one of my all-time favorite desserts that Grandma used to make. It is fairly simple but so delicious that you just can't get enough! Many is the time when supper would be long over and I would have a spoon and be stealing bites of this yummy dish every time I went into the kitchen. It's so good that I never make it because I just can't resist it. Here's to hoping you can enjoy it in moderation (as I never could) but whatever happens I guarantee you that you will enjoy it!!!

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and prepare filling in a medium-sized bowl by combining all filling ingredients (except the butter).
Step 2
Pour filling into 9 x 9 X 1 3/4 inch baking pan. Dot the filling with bits of the butter Spread the butter out evenly across the pan of filling. Set aside while you make the batter.
Step 3
To make the batter combine all of the batter ingredients and beat with a spoon until smooth.
Step 4
Drop the batter evenly over the filling in 9 portions (dollops). The batter will spread out while the cobbler is baking.
Step 5
Now bake the cobbler on the middle rack of the oven for 35-40 minutes until batter is golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and enjoy!
This cobbler is great on it's own but also tastes wonderful with some vanilla ice cream a la mode!
