Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp. baking powder
4 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 425°.

Step 2

Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs and vanilla. Put baking soda in sour cream. Let sit and then add to sugar mixture. Mix baking powder and flour together and add to sugar mixture. Mix until well blended.

Step 3

Chill dough for 1/2 hour, or until fairly firm. Roll out dough on floured surface.

Step 4

Bake for 8-10 minutes.
