- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 9 inch unbaked pie shell

Step 1
Blend 1/3 cup sugar with the cornstarch and add pineapple. Cook stirring constantly til mixture is thick and clear. Combine cream cheese with 1/2 c. sugar and salt - stir til smooth and well blended. Add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each. Blend in milk and vanilla. Spread cooled pineapple over bottom of pie shells. Pour in cheese mixture. Bake in a hot 400* oven for 10 minutes, then reduce to 325* and bake for 50 min. more. Cool before serving.
