  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

Step 1

Cream shortening & sugar. Add egg & vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt & milk. Mix well.

Step 2

Put in 8" greased square cake pan.

Step 3
