Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 lb pork sausage
- 3 cans of 8oz tomato sauce
- 2 cans 6oz tomato paste
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 eggs
- parsley
- 3 cups cottage cheese
- 1 carton ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- cooked lasagna noodles
- cheddar cheese
- mozzarella cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Cook beef and sausage, drain.
Step 2
Add next 7 ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour.
Step 3
In a bowl combine eggs, parsley, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese and parmesan cheese.
Step 4
Spread meat mixture in 13x9x2 in. pan.
Step 5
Layer noodles, 2 cups of cheese mixture, 1 cup of mozza and 1 cup of cheddar.
Step 6
Top with noodles, meat sauce, remaining cheese mixture and 1 cup of cheddar and 1 cup of mozza.
Step 7
Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce and mozza and cheddar cheeses.
Step 8
Cover and bake at 375 for 50 minutes. Uncover and bake another 20 minutes.
Step 9
Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
