- 2/3 C butter, softened
- 1 C sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 2/3 C milk
- 2 1/3 C flour
- 1 C cornmeal
- 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. In another bowl, combine eggs and milk. In another bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
Step 2
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with egg mixture.
Step 3
Pour into a greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-27 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Step 4
Cut into squares. Serve warm.
