Ingredients

  • • 1/4 cup (50 mL) all-purpose flour
  • • 1 egg
  • • 1 tbsp (15 mL) water
  • • 1 cup (250 mL) panko bread crumbs
  • • 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
  • • 1 1/4 lb (625 g) chicken breast tenders or boneless chicken breasts cut into 'finger' sized pieces
  • • Favourite dipping sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 425ºF. Line baking sheet with foil; spray with cooking spray.

Step 2

In shallow dish, place flour.

Step 3

In another shallow dish, beat egg and water.

Step 4

In third shallow dish, mix bread crumbs and cheese.

Step 5

Coat chicken with flour; dip into egg mixture, then coat with bread crumb mixture. Place on baking sheet.

Step 6

Bake 15 to 20 minutes, turning once, until chicken is no longer pink in centre and coating is golden brown. Serve with dipping sauce.
