Ingredients
- • 2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- • 1 large onion- 1 cup (chopped)
- • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes (undrained)
- • 1 can (16 oz) chili beans in sauce (undrained)
- • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- • 2 tablespoons chili powder
- • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- • 1/2 teaspoon salt
- • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In 12-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
Step 2
In 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, mix beef, onion and remaining ingredients.
Step 3
Cover and cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours.
