Ingredients
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 Cup Corn Syrup
- 1 Cup Water
- 2 Cups Peanuts
- 1 Tsp Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 Tsp Salt

Preparation
Step 1
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a heavy pot, combine sugar, corn syrup and water Over HIGH heat and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Without stirring, continue boiling for 7-9 minutes until dark amber in color or about 300F on a candy thermometer (hard crack).
Step 4
Remove from heat. Working quickly, stir in salt and peanuts, stirring with a wooden spoon. Stir in butter, vanilla and soda.
Step 5
Quickly pour onto lined cookie sheet, spreading with forks. Let cool and break apart.
