Ingredients
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Cocoa
- 1 Cup Milk
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Grease or line 8"or 9" square pan.
Step 2
In a large pot, combine sugar, cocoa and milk. Stir to blend. Bring to a boil over MED-HIGH heat stirring constantly. Reduce heat to LOW-MED and let simmer until candy thermometer reaches 238F. DO NOT STIR AGAIN.
Step 3
Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Beat with wooden spoon until fudge is no longer shiny and has a dull sheen to it. This can take 10-15 minutes. Do not under beat or fudge will not set correctly.
Step 4
Pour into pan and let cool and harden.
