Ingredients

1 1/4 cups butter or margarine
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter or margarine with sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 2

Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well.

Step 3

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Blend into the creamed mixture.

Step 4

Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoon fulls into greased cookie sheet
Bake at 350 got 8-9 minutes
DO NOT OVERBAKE- cookies will be soft, they will puff while baking and flatten when cooling
Makes 4 1/2 dozen
