Ingredients
- 8 manicotti shells
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp minced onion
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (or 1 clove minced)
- 2x 7 1/2 ox cans tomato sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Cook manicotti as directed on package. Rinse with cold water. Drain
Step 2
In bowl combine cottage cheese, eggs and parmesan cheese. Stir together well.
Step 3
Add parsley, salt, pepper and onion. Stir well.
Step 4
Stuff the shells with this mixture.
Step 5
Heat oil in frying pan. Add beef, onions, garlic and salt. Brown meat.
Step 6
Stir tomato sauce into hamburger.
Step 7
Put half of meat sauce on bottom of dish. Arrange manicotti shells. Put rest of meat sauce over top.
Bake at 350 uncovered for 45 minutes
