Chocolate M&M's cake mix cookies

Ingredients

15.25 oz. package chocolate cake mix (I used Betty Crocker super moist chocolate fudge)
1 egg
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons Hersey's chocolate syrup (2 tablespoons of water may be substituted)
1 1/2 cups m&m's milk chocolate candy

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a large bowl combine egg, butter, and syrup, and cake mix with and electric mixer on low speed until thoroughly mixed.

3. Add m&m's, about a half cup at a time, stirring in with a wooden spoon. Drop rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
