Ingredients
- 2 cups Milk
- 4 cups coarse bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs (slightly beaten)
- 1/4 t Salt
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 t Cinnamon
- 1/2 t Nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
Heat milk to scalding and then pour over the bread crumbs. Let cool.
Step 2
Combine the butter, sugar, eggs, salt, raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add the bread crumb mixture and mix. Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 qt casserole dish and set dish in a pan of water about 1" deep. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr.
