Ingredients

  • Serves: 8
  • 440 Gram Can red kidney beans, drained & rinsed (15 1/2 oz)
  • 1 Large Red onion, finely chopped
  • 25 Gram Plain flour (1 oz), plus extra to dust
  • 3 Tablespoon Fresh herbs, finely chopped
  • 2 Teaspoon Sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 2 Tablespoon Vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

Take the beans and mash lightly, add the onion, flour, herbs, chilli sauce and egg.

Mix until all the ingredients are combined.

Shape the mixture into 8 rounds and lightly dust with flour.

Heat the oil and fry the burgers for 4 minutes each side. Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
