Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 can (16 oz) of ground pork sausage
- 1 can (16 oz) of drained kidney beans
- 1 can (16 oz) of drained lima beans
- 1 can (16 oz) of drained diced carrots
- 1 can (16 oz) of diced tomatoes
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of dried parsley flakes
Preparation
Step 1
Cook bacon in large skillet or dutch oven until crisp.
Step 2
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 3
Add sausage to skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring with fork as it browns.
Step 4
Pour off drippings.
Step 5
Add remaining ingredients and cook over low heat for 15 minutes or longer, until flavors blend.
Step 6
Toss with bacon slices.
Step 7
Serve in bowls.
