Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar together, then add egg, vanilla, and milk, beating well after each.
Step 2
Combine dry ingredients and add creamed mixture, beat well.
Step 3
Roll and cut out and bake in 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.
Use lemon juice instead of vanilla and add lemon zest for more flavor.
