  • 2 1/3 C. - Flour
  • 1 2/3 C. - Sugar
  • 1 1/4 C. - Mashed bananas (approx. 3 medium)
  • 2/3 C. - Finely chopped nuts
  • 2/3 C. - Shortening
  • 2/3 C. - Buttermilk
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 1/4 tsp. - Baking powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp. - Baking soda
  • 1 tsp. - salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 pan. Beall all ingredients on low speed, scraping bowl constantly for about 30 seconds. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes. Pour into pan. Bake 40-50 minutes. Cool. (frost with vanilla frosting)
