Ingredients
- 1# ham steak, 1/2" thick
- Basting sauce:
- Combine
- 1 T Dijon mustard
- 1 T honey
- 1 T apricot preserves (may substitute)
- Scalloped potatoes
- 8 potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
- 2 T butter
- 1/4-1/2 c cheddar cheese, shredded
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Peel & slice potatoes. Steam until tender.
Step 2
Drain. Spoon onto foil; dab with some butter;add salt & pepper to taste; sprinkle with shredded cheddar; mix and seal. Place on grill.
Step 3
Cut outer edge of fat on ham diagonally at 1: intervals to prevent curling (do not cut into ham).
Step 4
Grill ham uncovered 4-6" from medium high heat for 4 minutes. Turn ham. Brush with sauce. Grill 4 minutes. Turn again; brush with sauce. Grill 2 minutes or until heated through.
