Ingredients
- 1 cup unpopped corn, popped
- 1 cup peanuts, or nut of your choice (optional)
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups brown sugar
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ cup corn syrup
- ½ tsp cream of tarter

Preparation
Step 1
Mix butter, sugar and corn syrup, bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, baking soda and cream of tarter.
Step 3
Mix well and pour over popcorn.
Step 4
Gently stir popcorn in pan and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes @ 200 deg. F.
Step 5
Spread out onto a baking sheet to cool.
Step 6
Once cooled, separate clumps and store in covered tin. Tastes just like Crackerjack. Freezes well.
