  • 1 Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 15 ounce can of pumpkin puree

Preparation

Step 1

Empty the contents of the boxed cake mix and pumpkin puree into a large bowl.

Step 2

Using a hand-mixer or stand mixer beat until well incorporated. You can also stir by hand, but make sure it all comes together. The batter will be very thick, but will come together nicely.

Step 3

Pour batter into a greased 9 x 12 pan.

Step 4

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 5

Let cool, and then ice it with your icing of choice. I used cream cheese icing, and it was phenomenal.

You may need to cook a little longer than recipe says. Just make sure toothpick comes out clean.
