  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups canned or cooked chicken

Preparation

Step 1

Melt 1/4 cup of butter in a skillet. Add flour, salt and pepper. Stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Slowly stir in chicken broth. Return to heat. Slowly stir in one cup of milk. Bring to a boil over low heat stirring constantly. Boil one minute. Add chicken. Continue to cook until meat is heated through.
