Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Heat sugar, butter, and water to boiling in large pot, stirring constantly; reduce heat to medium. Cook about 13 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture becomes brown
Step 2
Immediately pour toffee onto baking sheet. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and spread with a knife.
Step 3
Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour, or refrigerate until firm.
