Ingredients
- 1 lb raw jalapenos
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 bag shredded jalapeno jack cheese
- 1 1/2 lb bacon
- toothpicks (soaked in water about 30 min to prevent burning)
Preparation
Step 1
cut jalapenos in half, coring and removing seeds. Bring a pot of water to boil, add a little salt, and boil jalapenos for a couple of minutes until soft, but a little firm
Step 2
put cream cheese and shredded cheese in a bowl and mix well.
Step 3
after straining the jalapeno halves, stuff with cheese mixture, about a tbsp, then wrap a slice of bacon around the pepper, securing bacon with a toothpick
Step 4
either grill on the BBQ pit or bake at 375 until cheese has melted and bacon is crisp and brown
