Ingredients

  • 1 box (1 lb 2.3 oz) fudge brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed, drained
  • 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 325°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray or shortening

Step 2

In medium bowl, beat brownie mix, water, oil and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl occasionally. Add strawberries; beat 2 minutes longer. Stir in chocolate chips

Step 3

Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center and 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

Step 4

In small microwavable bowl, microwave frosting uncovered on High about 15 seconds or until frosting can be stirred smooth. Spread or drizzle frosting over brownies.

Serve topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
