Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1 c. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 10 c. water
  • 3 TBSP lemon juice
  • Makes enough sauce for 7 quarts peeled, sliced, cored apples.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients for sauce and boil until thickened.

Step 2

Pour on top of apples in bottles.

Step 3

Clean and put lids on.
