Ingredients
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup diced green pepper
- 1 pint (16 oz can) stewed dIced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup long grain rice
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
- 1 tbs brown sugar
- 1 tsp Worchestershire Sauce
- Bacon grease

Step 1
Cook bacon till crisp. Drain half of the grease. Fry onion and green pepper in grease till tender. Add remaining ingredients (except the bacon) cover and simmer 35 - 40 minutes. Crumble bacon over the top. Serve and enjoy.
You may want to double the recipe- this rice goes fast but the leftovers are even better the next day.
