Ingredients
- 1 lg onion
- 5-6 garlic cloves (1/2 t per clove)
- 2 green bell pepper
- 1-2 jalapenos seeded
- 1 1/2 lb tomatillos husked and halved
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 t cumin
- 4 c chicken broth
- 2-3 Tbsp sugar optional

Preparation
Step 1
Sautee onions and garlic.
Step 2
Combine tomatillos, green pepper and cilantro in blender.
Step 3
Pour tomatillos mix over the onions and garlic. Add broth, salt, pepper, cumin.
Step 4
Simmer 15 min-1 hour.
Freezer enchilada sauce! Can be enchilada sauce or chip dip.
