Ingredients

  • 8 c diced seeded peeled tomatoes
  • 2 medium green peppers chopped
  • 2 lg onions chopped
  • 2 jalapeno peppers seeded and finely chopped
  • 3/4 c tomato paste
  • 2/3 c condensed tomato soup undiluted
  • 1/2 c white vinegar
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 T salt
  • 41/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 T cayenne pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In large saucepan combine all ingredients.
Bring to a boil.

Step 2

Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered for 45 minutes. Stir often.

Step 3

Pour into small freezer containers. Cool to room temperature about 1 hour.

Step 4

Cover and freeze up to 3 months. Stir before serving.
