Ingredients
- 2 T vegetable oil or olive oil
- 1/4 t 1/2 small onion diced
- 1 large garlic clove minced
- 2 T flour
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups chicken or pork broth
- 2 c roasted peeled green chiles or 8 oz canned green chilies
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp slt
- optional 2 tsp jalapeno to make it hotter

Preparation
Step 1
sautee onion and garlic enough time to wilt onions. Don't let them brown.
Step 2
Stir in flour, cumin, and black pepper. Cook about 2 minutes. Add broth and avoid clumps.
Step 3
Add rest of ingredients. simmer on low another 30 minutes. Should not be to thick. Dilute with broth.
Step 4
Pure if it's not smooth enough.
Will keep in fridge for a week, heat before using.
