- 1 1/3 cups Sugar
- 3 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Shortening
- 1 cup low fat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 eggs

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Step 2
Combine dry ingredients in mixer bowl.
Add shortening, milk and vanilla.
Mix about 1 min
Add in eggs
mix for 30 seconds
Scrape bowl
Step 3
Pour into two greased or floured 8 or 9 inch pans
Step 4
Bake at 350 for 30-35 mins
Step 5
Cool for 10 mins
Frost cake and enjoy!
