- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp soda
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup coconut
- 6 Tbsp butter

Preparation
Step 1
put water, butter and oats int bowl and leave it until the butter melts
Step 2
add 2nd list and mix well
Step 3
add flour and soda and mix
Step 4
bake in a 9x13 at 350 degrees for 35 minutes

mix topping ingredients in saucepan and dissolve on stage
Step 6
pour over hot cake and broil for 2 minutes until golden
